This year we raised £130 for Save the Children!
We all love a cheesy Christmas jumper, and we all know at some point in December there is a dedicated day to wear the Christmas jumper that has been stuffed at the back of the draw all year, but do you know the amazing cause behind this day?
Every year, millions of people across the UK don the cheesiest Christmas they can find in support of Save the Children. Across offices, schools and families, people get together to spread the Christmas cheer to those who may need a bit of extra magic. One a year, Save the Children promote the wearing of Christmas jumpers in order to spread awareness and raise money for a charity that helps to give underprivileged children the chance to build a better future.
This year at Dorset Windows, on Christmas Jumper Day, we will be donating money for each one of our employees that show up to work in a Christmas jumper. We really believe in the work that Save the Children are doing and as a small family business, emphasise the importance of helping families to build a better future. Especially at this festive time of year!
